Proposed Environmental Projects – Heading towards creating an Integrated Waste Management Complex
- Common Hazardous Waste Treatment, Storage & Disposal Facility – Landfill Site
- The proposed project is coming up at Village Vadgam, Dist. Anand and centrally located to cater various industries across the state.
- The Environment Clearance from Ministry of Environment & Forest Climate Change, New Delhi has been received.
- The capacity of the landfill site as per the permission received is 420410 tons of hazardous waste.
- The area earmarked for the TSDF site is 760000 Sq. Ft. belonging to the company.
- The technology selected is as per the guidelines of the Central Pollution Control Board and Ministry of Environment and Forest.
- Common Incineration Facility
- Thermal oxidation through incinerator is one of the proven technologies for destruction of hazardous waste in all the forms i.e. solid / semi-solid/liquid and gaseous, based on the feeding system, so as to render them innocuous in the form of non-toxic and non-hazardous residues.
- The company has been permitted to install 2 nos. of incinerators with the capacity of 1.5 tons per hour each.
- The unit is proposed at Village Vadgam, Dist. Anand admeasuring 207000 Sq. Ft. areas. The unit is adjacent to the proposed landfill site.
